Yoshi's Story was a surprisingly fun one. Never played it before now and wish I played it sooner. The whole storybook aspectic to it was interesting and the gameplay was smooth. Gex 3 was fun. Will go back to clean up the rest of the retroachievements at a later date but overall the game was pretty solid. Has its janky moments but the references and jokes were also funny but do get old after awhile. It's a 3.5/5 from me. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Haven't popped a trophy since March... first thing I do when I decided to dust off the old ps3. Game is tougher than I remembered but no more 1 trophy unlocked. 🤣
1 more level and the final gauntlet and Rocket: Robot On Wheels is done! The bike took forever to get used to but after raging hard last 2 days, finally got the hang of the thing. Onto the next level. 🤣#retroachievements #collectathon
Toy Story 2 was a fun 3d collect-a-thon. Did it for RAs event and went in with low expectations and came out honestly surprised. Has a few questionable hit boxes especially on zip lines and a couple levels but other than that, it was really solid.4/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Disney Extreme Skate Adventure (Gamecube version) was a fun little Tony Hawk clone. The game is pretty simple overall and the collectables can be well hidden. Each world has its own coresponding set of characters and the ost is alright at best. 4/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Scooby Doo Night Of 100 Frights is a fun 3d platformer with a metroidvania twist for the majority. It is super cryptic and the games collectables are super obscured by the fixed camera angles. Going to see it to 100% but for now I'll take the beat. 4/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
I was not expecting a 3d platformer collect-a-thon to have metroidvania elements to it. I only played a demo of Scooby Doo Night Of 100 Frights back on ps2 years ago and I am regretting not getting to this sooner! It's pretty addicting and I am not usually a fan of metroidvania style games. 😄

Summer of Collect-A-Thons continues with Stuart Little 2 on ps1. The game is pretty mid. Has cutscenes straight from the movie and the game itself is just a basic 3d platformer. Summer of Collect-A-Thons for Retroachievements begins strong with Spyro 1! The game still holds up today and the later flight levels still suck. The music slaps, and the level design gives a progressive challenge. Overall it's still a 5/5 for me. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Today is a good day! Just got all these for free off a local recycling kindness group. The lady said her nephew upgraded to a ps4 and can't be bothered with keeping ps3 games anymore and she had them from when she moved to my town. There was also some case/manual only games not shown. Also some dvds
Gummy Bears: Magical Medallion was interesting. Platformer that despite eating inputs, was surprisingly fun. The last set of levels were rough but overall it's one of the better licensed games I played in recent years. The music gets old though. 3/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer on Wii is just 4 mini games decorating the tree, putting presents and toys under the tree, making cookies, painting toys and then helping Santa deliver it. The things I do for the wii rollout event on RA. The game sucks. 2/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Snoopy Vs. The Red Baron (Atari 2600) is just a simple dogfighter. You play as Snoopy & all you are doing is shooting down the red plane while collecting stuff he drops. Super simple and RA beat condition was 15 kills without a game over. 4/5 because Snoopy #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Super Mario World (SNES) beaten in style by listening to @polykillpodcast.bsky.social while I took down Bowser. The game still holds up today and despite being a tad rusty, the difficulty curve was done just right. 5/5 It's a goto when I am feeling nostalgic and is a childhood staple. #justbeatit

Sonic 3 & Knuckles was another great sequel. The ost slaps as always. The levels were great for the majority and the majority of the gimmicks & the fact if you play as Knuckles expands on the gameplay. 4.5/5 because the later ports removed the MJ songs. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
Sonic 2 is a goat. The addition of Tails as well as spin dash made the gameplay feel more fast than it did in Sonic 1. The ost slaps especially Aquatic Ruins, Mystic Cave and Sky Chase. 4/5. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
