New challenge to add to the list at check-in: 'Does your wife fit in the gauge?'

The slippery sods are annoyingly mobile however & that is going to take international cooperation to tackle. I'd start there & focus on capital gains rather than existing wealth. Calling for a blanket x% tax on existing fortunes rightly generates the 'When will they come for the rest?' response.

A place in the New Year's Honours list as a minimum:
She has fought against some evil swine and won, we owe her a big vote of thanks.
It's best served cold, I believe.
Congratulations Democrat Nancy Lacore...... 💙🌊🎊
The Pope has a control room. Who knew? Best guesses for what his alarm annunciator actually alerts him to...?
As the US midterm results flood in, one man looks upon them with quiet satisfaction.
Wallace: 'Hey look Gromit, The Appliance has gone to Florida. Still malfunctioning though but.' Gromit: <epic eyeroll>
Liz Truss was at Mar-a-lago with other Trump super fans, holding and promoting a publication from a far right Polish politician who spoke at Tommy Robinson’s September 2025 London rally, leading a “Send them back” chant. Remember when the lettuce lasted longer than her?
I wonder if Fred has expressed his opinion on the whole 'pillowcase incident' yet? #DignityAtAllTimes
Fred in a pillowcase. Nothing else, just Fred. Swaddled. In a pillowcase. This is a timeline cleanse. You are welcome.
Someone's strategy is working. What say you @lisanandymp.bsky.social & @ofcom.bsky.social ?
Why I no longer watch or trust BBC! 🤷🏼♀️

So the evidence has been collated. When does the justice bit start, I wonder?
No, I'm so surprised that the Tories were up to no good. They never deserve to govern again.
This is one of the many reasons why we need nuclear-powered merchant ships. Could be dodgy if the pirates get hold of one though. Would only ever have to come into port if they ran low on rum.
THE ODYSSEY!!!!!
The evidence builds every day. Our only hope is that the main protagonists are too stupid to prevail much longer.
Looks like they're a few herberts short of a density there, doesn't it?
By all accounts this is what most of the recent Reform media events have looked like. Bubble well and truly burst
Herberts voting for poorer living standards? Why am I not surprised. #VoteSmarter
At least 25% of 2024 Reform UK voters or their family members receive either child benefit or a means-tested benefit. Here's Robert Jenrick confirming that Reform UK plan to cut spending by £51 billion taking it from benefits.
If she wants to be the first, she has the backing of everone who had, the emphasis on 'had', a healthy pension pot the day before her infamous mini-budget. 'The Appliance Goes To Mars' is a story we can all get behind.
Surely this is a daily mash thing?
What say you @lisanandymp.bsky.social ?
This went on for the rest of the full hour, at which point the BBC apologised for having to go to the weather and urged viewers to follow continuing live coverage on iPlayer. Forty-one minutes of unfiltered, unchallenged propaganda by a far right party with 8 MPs, now third in the polls. Discuss.

Just making sure that the only Brexit benefit is still present and correct in the places it was intended to assist? #VoteSmarter
Reform MP Andrew Rosindell, ex Tory who dodged rape etc charges is soft on tax havens - letting millionaires pay less tax than poor people with 3 lousy jobs By coincidence, he's just back from 'fact-finding tours' AKA luxury holidays in Isles of Man, Jersey & Caymans worth £thousands via Private Eye
Funny how it doesn't mention saving the tax havens for the ultra-wealthy or destabilising the EU to benefit hostile state actors, isn't it? #VoteSmarter
A mountain of misinformation….or disinformation bsky.app/profile/paro...
Something to ponder should you, out of pure curiosity, be thinking of buying The Appliance's new book:
"The IMF intervened twice on their demented plan. The Bank of England rushed in to prevent a £1.5 trillion collapse of pension funds. The budget still cost pensions £75 billion. That’s £1 per second for 2,325 years. Or £3,600 per hour, every hour, since Hannibal marched his elephants over the Alps."
Remember that documentary on ancient Egypt where, on his death, they'd chisel the name of the previous Pharaoh off every building and temple in the kingdom? That.

Tell the same lie enough times and it becomes the accepted truth. This needs to be stamped on from on high. See also: Brexit benefits [excepting those pertaining to those who happen to own news media obvs.]
UK ‘wealth exodus’ was manufactured by the press. The press complaints body IPSO must investigate or step aside. The story started with one study which now admits it has no evidence. Media owned by corporations and the super rich lapped it up, served their economic interest, ideological purpose.
A simple fix from the UK: 4 tickets in a rolling 3 year period and you get disqualified from driving for a mandatory 12 month period. Enforced by a national camera network on all major roads with mobile cameras on minor roads. Apart from the real crazies, there is almost no speeding on UK roads.
The number of drivers who have racked up 16 or more speed camera tickets in a one-year period is spiking, right as legislation to slow them down comes up for a vote. hellgatenyc.com/superspeeder...
It's only symbolic but it would send a long-overdue signal. Off with their honours!
Seems only right. This should be extended to cover tax avoidance by exile, people like Jim Ratcliffe, why should people who leave our country to avoid paying tax, keep their honours, its a dishonourable thing to do. www.ruck.co.uk/rugby-news/k...
Perfect. When your neighbourhood herbert/relative/colleague says: 'We've got to get out of the EHCR', produce this graphic and ask if they realise what EVERYBODY, and that means them too, would lose if we did. #VoteSmarter
I want all these rights safeguarded. Tories and Reform want us all to be economic units with no rights at all.
Lost 17% on my private pension investment thanks to the tenure of The Appliance. Never Forgive Never Forget #VoteSmarter
