Canadian journalist Lloyd Robertson, who covered everything from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the 9/11 terrorist attacks during 35 years as chief anchor of CTV National News, has died. He was 92.

My recollection is Teams cannot meet the privacy standards required in BC for this to happen with a platform used for teaching.

A good read, and not because of the AI angle. In cases like this, a relevant legal question is when an adjudicator (or judge) may draw adverse inference from an action or omission. In this case, there is a long saga around the student providing the original underlying file for his exam answers.

I wonder in such polls if there either (a) an explanation of what supply management is or (b) a question asking if the respondent knows what supply management is. (I ask this of other questions on polls, as well.)

worth noting that 1) The City of Vancouver decided to cancel all their regular meetings they would have in June so that everyone could enjoy the World Cup 2) City councillors then explicitly said when they returned to council a few weeks ago that they didn't want to work weekends or go into August

In spite of its recent "leftish" stint under J Trudeau, the Liberals have often had centre right leaders (e.g. St Laurent, Martin), and the political overlap between the Liberals and the former PCs was large. (Are there any Red Tories left in the Conservative's ranks?)

I expect the VPD weren't asked for the list of officers and their work schedules. Should the public be especially concerned about our own safety on Granville for the next 7 weeks? BTW, are the CCTV cameras that were installed in the "FIFA Zone" still going to be active during these 7 weeks?

After Labour Day, the VPD will provide a full costing breakdown"

Then they said they were still figuring out their plans. Now they're saying it's too complicated to reveal.
