The TOS being so strict that they control you offsite is the problem; sites like Patreon and Kofi have offsite clauses too. The social criminalization of the suggestion that somewhere you might be doing nsfw is a problem. It's branding a person as obscene and we need consumers to stand up for us

YouTube banning ASMR channels of women creators (and always women) because they also happened to link to their fan sites, policing their autonomy and choices - outside of YouTube, even - is a fucking puritanical travesty. People losing years of work & income just like that. Vile.

Ah, I found the two women that have been working to put so many great queer comics on shelf at my local book store! We had a great chat and I recommended a bunch of other books.
I spoke to my local comic book store about the books that are selling. For a few weeks there, they were literally selling at least one copy of Dungeon Crawler Carl every hour.

I really wanted to like Hirayasumi, but then Hiroto was a passive aggressive prick that punishes people for not sharing his value system. Maybe he eventually grows and apologises for it, but it just wasn’t happening fast enough for me. Instead of being cosy, it was subtle rage bait.

They also hold the proceeds of iOS app sales for 75 days, making it impossible for creators to accurately predict earnings. They basically inserted themselves in order to rip *more* people off
Can confirm, my monthly earnings have been wildly unpredictable for a number of reasons recently, but I suspect this is a contributor. If you signed up on the iOS app, I’d encourage you to do it on a desktop browser instead.

I swear to god, if I see people trying to shift the narrative into some kind of "it's addiction, it isn't his fault, we need to be allowing and understanding during this difficult time for him and if you aren't you're intolerant" I'm going to blow up
