Just a year ago, Hungary was all over right-wing media claiming racist authoritarian pronatalism had solved birth rate decline without immigration. Ridiculous at the time, it's looking worse and worse. This from an Orban official in the Telegraph led with an obviously fake graph. How it's going:

Die Idee, die SPD hätte massiv Wähler:innen an die AfD verloren dominiert weiter den politischen Diskurs. Sie ist schlicht falsch. Mit dem Panel der GLES sieht man bspw. dass nur 11% der 2013 SPD-Wähler:innen 2025 AfD gewählt haben. Diese Tatsache muss doch mal in Politik und Medien ankommen.

Restiktivere Migrationspolitik gewinnt nicht nur keine Wähler:innen zurück, sie verschiebt auch die öffentliche Meinung in Richtung radikal rechts (Jetzt auf deutsch)
