Senator Mark Warner

U.S. Senator from Virginia. Vice Chairman, Senate Intel Committee.

Anyone else think it’s weird that Trump alleged massive election interference by the CCP… but never really followed that up with any action? It should be abundantly clear these claims of election fraud are just a pretext to justify interfering in the midterms.

New reporting indicates the U.S. has used “virtually all” of our precision long-range missiles during the Iran War. We’re running low on critical munitions and spending millions every day this war of choice drags on.

This past weekend, Truth Social’s $100,000 subscription service for early access to Trump’s posts went live. Last night, I introduced a bill to crack down on this corruption and ensure all Americans have free and equal access to public announcements from government officials.

Last week, I had an opportunity to meet with sailors and leadership aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford. I’m inspired by their bravery, and as committed as ever to ensuring our military families get the best benefits.

I’m humbled to see the Norfolk community step up to support those who have lost or are at risk of losing their Medicaid coverage. But let’s not forget that this is only necessary because Republicans’ megabill is stripping tens of thousands of Virginians of the health care coverage they depend on.

Trump can’t stop flip-flopping… he threatens airstrikes on Iran, calls them off claiming a deal is within reach, and now talks have collapsed again. Five months into this war of choice, there’s still no end in sight.

Glad to see this issue getting more attention. Since 2019, I’ve been pushing legislation to ensure consumer AI agents entrusted with our most sensitive data and payment decisions have a fiduciary duty to put users first.

Great to spend my morning at NASA Langley celebrating the opening of the Flight Dynamics Research Facility! The future of cutting edge flight research will continue to be conducted right here in Virginia.

The longer this war of choice drags on, the greater the cost to our national security and military readiness. Reports that months of fighting with Iran have left U.S. interceptor missile stockpiles dangerously low should be a wake-up call.

Trump is more focused on collecting money for his pet projects than he is on governing. Offering donors special access in exchange for tens of millions of dollars isn’t draining the swamp — it’s expanding it.

I just voted AGAIN to try and end Trump’s war in Iran. Once again, Republicans blocked it. When will they wake up and realize this war is spiking costs, accomplishing little, and endangering American servicemembers?

This administration is trying a full scale attack on our elections. They’ve dismantled the VRA. They’re going after mail-in voting. They’re attempting to undermine trust & stoke conspiracies. We cannot fall for it. We must speak up for the integrity of our elections.

Over 5 months into this war, and the conflict is still escalating. Prices are still going up. And not a single one of this administration’s goals have been reached. This was always a war of choice. It’s long past time to end it.

Amid the endlessly chaotic news cycle, we can’t lose sight of the fact that reproductive freedom remains under attack. Republicans have attempted to turn the clock back on access to abortion and birth control, and we must keep speaking up loudly to defend it.

The facts haven’t changed: there’s no evidence of interference in the 2020 election. Trump knows he can’t defend his record, so instead he’s trying to sow doubt in the very system that voters will use to hold him accountable.

Whether we like it or not, AI is here to stay. That’s why I introduced legislation to shape the rules of the road for AI and ensure America leads in developing it responsibly. We can’t afford to stay on the sidelines.

This planting season, farmers in Virginia and across the country paid $1,500 more for diesel fuel than they did last year. Between Trump’s war of choice and his reckless tariffs, the president’s policies are driving up costs for the very people who put food on America’s tables.

As data centers exponentially hike utility bills for ratepayers, endanger our water supply, and pollute our air and water, we need leaders willing to protect our communities. Thank you to @markwarner.bsky.social for leading on legislation that enacts necessary guardrails for data centers.
