My latest sewing project is this vest! I’ve never done patchwork before so I’m sticking with simple diamonds. UwU What’s it giving?
Also, I didn’t even write this about evangelizing to transphobes. I wrote it about the 98% of people in your life who just kinda don’t know what’s going on and don’t know any trans people but think it sounds a little weird. That demographic is enormous, and an enormous opportunity.
If you’re cis & you want trans folks to know they’re valid and cared for, here’s a tip: Don’t say it to a trans person. Go talk to a cis person. Talk to your dad. Your coworker. Your friends. Ask if they know whats going on. Ask if they have uncertainties when it comes to the ~trans issue.~
Oh that note, if there’s any cis person who sees this who has good-faith questions about trans people; who isn’t sure how to rebut certain arguments; who is curious, but afraid to ask, or to offend… Please ask me! I will not judge your language, or what you don’t know! I want you to know more!

I actually don’t know what people’s problem is tbh, I love reading the comments when I randomly discover my art on Pinterest
Finally deleted my X account. Been abandoned for a while. What a bummer. Twitter is where I saw my first big break. My career was made on there. We’re all considering where the hell we go from here, I know. The internet is changing for artists and I’m not sure email lists will save us. Thoughts?
The head of my illustration department at school said this on the day Trump was first elected. Even in that moment, when I still looked up to him, I thought it was batshit and insulting.
"Things might be tough but it's great for artists! They'll create more!" You might not believe me but going through a lifetime's worth of stress Every Single Week for years and years- is actually not the optimal set of circumstances that inspires artists to create
I have now contacted my representative, both my senators, and the fucking ACLU I know that honestly the only thing I can ACTUALLY do is just wait for them to get their frickin guidance. But all your fuckin panickmongering about document confiscation is getting to me.
This asshole (me) applied for a passport with an X like three days before Trump took office. It’s now frozen on the “we don’t know what the fuck to do with this” planet. As someone legitimately stuck in this issue I’m really not a fan of the random unsubstantiated panic and hearsay going around.
🧵✨SPRING COLLECTION: THE CHÈRE LOUNGE SET. The second installment in the Maison Lune fashion project I’m illustrating this year!
I cannot describe to you how much sewists hate it when you see a cool thing they made and ask them if they will offer a pattern (if they don’t already offer patterns regularly)
Three mock-ups, guys. THREE mock-ups. Normally I just fully raw dog it but for patterning the worlds simplest vest? Three mock-ups. Are the sewists on bluesky yet? The historical girlies? Where you guys at
Okay lads I’ve just done an intro class at a bouldering gym and I’m a rock climbing guy now. Any advice? Beginner tips?
More shots of the corset binder that Donna Anita Atelier made for me. 💛
Friend: “Oh I read this new graphic novel that I loved, let me tell you about it!” Me: oh god I’m about to be exposed as a fraud, i don’t read enough graphic novels, I don’t know all the ones coming out, I’m a phony Friend tells me Me: “Oh my friend wrote that :)”
✨What I wore to illustrate in the Providence Athenaeum today! 💛 Shirt, bolero vest, gold belt and dark brown leg covers made by me! Scarf by @logandria.bsky.social, glasses chain by @brysheyra.bsky.social and golden brown trousers sewn as a gift by my husband. :)
🪡🌟The first piece in the Maison Lune “Lounge & Intimates” Collection: The Laurent Lounge Set! ✨ Much of the collection is inspired by Edwardian and late Victorian dress, but this one in particular is also a take on Nouveau-Does-Medievalism that I really adore!
🧵🪡✨ A peek into the new project I’ll be posting throughout this year!
