Don’t trust atoms. They make up everything. Saw this stuck on a light pole during this morning’s soggy dog walk.
At 2002 Bike the Drive, a volunteer was handing out Obama IL state senate campaign stickers. I’d just read about Obama in the Trib & liked him so I stuck 1 on my back. A fellow rider asked who he was. I told the guy to vote for him. Jerk scoffed, “not with a name like that.” #ObamaCenter
Had the privilege of seeing John Primer play at the Beverly Castle in front of about 40 people to help raise money for his marker on the Mississippi Blues Trail. He was incredible. #SavetheBlues
The neighbors made a snow version of their corgi and it is utterly adorable (like their actual corgi).
Even Chicago’s snapdragons are standing tall against ICE. Urbs in Horto.
Cook County Forest Preserves. (A hellscape on the outskirts of the Hellhole that is Chicago.)
Saw this while out on a run. I had no idea cacti could survive a Chicago winter! Yet one more thing to love about our wonderful city. #ChicagoHellHole
Got a few pics before it heads south which will be soon based on all the trips it made to the sunflowers today. #RubyThroatedHummingbird
Chicago’s sewer system dates back to the mid-1800s and was undoubtedly built by immigrant labor. #ManholeCoverMonday
