so weird seeing this and knowing how my art has developed, but not in like…a sincerely drastic fashion? like, im still me, and my art is still distinctly mine, but it’s like ive found my voice more. so cool :’)
mars_martens^^@marsmartens.bsky.social · 2y agoa screenshot from a magma with @frogglasses.bsky.social and their chat! i drew the spideys and mj lol (also go follow frog, theyre dope and i highly recommend)

a message to visual artists/creatives: let the planning stage be messy. don’t let the internet tell you that it needs to be aesthetically pleasing so you can post EVERY STEP of the way. let the scribbles fly. let go. i promise it’s okay here are some thumbnails for upcoming animatic, for example
#babyloniansun character of which is a side character to ronnie! her name is callum in my original notes, but that’s subject to change if i dont like callum too much as a name a before and after in her character to give her more character(the art style change lol) #art #sketch #oc #traditional
wip of #animation that i’m working on for markus!! new video should be going up soon on YT ^^ (MY BACCCCKKKKKKK)
no one ask me how i’m feeling im FINE. anyway new animation going up on yt today and it is this! shocking i know finished animation of this should be going up next week if all goes well :]
attempting to work on my lighting skills with alex! he’s on fire because he wants to be, no other reason! more on alex on YT at @Alec-cosmo :]
for anyone wondering, the reason why i’m not like, posting a lot of works is because last year i made a bad habit of posting unfinished work just to post. this would result in me not finishing any work at all, so im just working with myself to get in to a rhythm of actually COMPLETING projects (1/2)
