If you’re a cyclist in Blackrock, you’re probably familiar with Deepwell Lane 🚴 Preliminary works are taking place Monday 24th - Friday 28th August, which will involve closing the existing lane from Blackrock Park to Blackrock Dart Station. Works to expand the lane are due to begin in Qrt 4 🥳
Bins, bogs and benches, the three Bs of local government After waiting years for a bin in Rockfield Park it was placed in the area with very few passers-by. It’s now been moved to the main lane from Barclay Court. Thanks to everyone who got in touch about it and to the cleansing staff for moving it.

Sometimes, it’s the little things! For people using mobility aids, stepping up to or down from a kerb is not feasible. Thanks a million to @dlrcoco.ie and the contractors #Nolan for installing the speed bump. Handy also if you’re trying to get your wheely trolley of groceries back from the village
