We were watching that silly new Tom Hiddleston reenactment of the disaster of Pompeii and he was like ‘we have amazing new tech that allows us to track people through this disaster’ and I was oh no he’s going to say it’s an AI brain or something and then he said…. ‘Its a spreadsheet’ and I CHEERED

Safeway does this and it is so frustrating cause if I still have shopping to do i have to remember to tell the cashier that I have something held at customer service

Target, CVS, etc won’t allow me (I cant generalize here because again no data on this specific part of the policy) to TOUCH the item. A clerk unlocks it, holds it close for me to read the label, pulls it away like I’m an infant doing peek-a-boo if I reach for it.
