We're a unique group of engineers, designers, and problem solvers.

We're excited for Apple's future, but this WWDC was also bittersweet seeing Tim's last keynote as CEO. Apple has advanced so much under Tim and we thank him for his service to the Apple and Apple Developer communities. #WWDC2026

That's a wrap for #WWDC26. We're excited to see what Apple has in store for Developer Tools (including Figma and GitHub AI support) that we will learn about in the Platforms State of the Union. Developer betas are available today!

Being able to describe a shortcut and have it built by the Shortcuts app will be beneficial for so many users. Apple continues their thoughtfulness with automation on their platforms with this feature. We still miss Automator though. #WWDC2026

The personal context awareness of Siri AI will be very useful for many users, allowing content to be surfaced from across all of the built-in Apple Apps. It remains to be seen if third party apps will be able to surface data into Siri. #WWDC2026

Apple moving to Google Gemini models for Foundation Models means that iOS 27 is boosting the performance of on-device and private cloud compute models. This means that apps already integrating with Apple Intelligence will get a boost when iOS 27 is available. #WWDC2026

Apple has consistently been at the forefront of technology and health. This takes a new turn in iOS 27 as Apple works to make their devices safer for children and teens, improving digital health. Things like what kids can see, do, and interact with on their devices is controlled. #WWDC2026

Apple continues to show off their silicon prowess with the ability for iOS to run on iPhone 11 and up. The hardware and software integration is unprecedented, and this industry standard makes other platforms look like they abandon users prematurely. #WWDC2026

Seeing Apple take user criticism and feedback to heart with this release is much appreciated. Liquid Glass now looks better, fixing a lot of inconsistent issues, and should ensure that apps look and perform better across iOS and macOS. #WWDC2026

The years in which Apple has focused on bug fixes and enhancements instead of big new features have always ushered in the most popular OS releases. While it's not flashy and sexy it's absolutely welcomed. #WWDC2026

As expected, this years releases will be a ‘Snow Leopard’ year with refinements to make the platform more stable, and introduce security improvements. Plus we will see Apple’s late promised Intelligence features. #WWDC2026

#WWDC26 is almost here! Beyond the standard iOS 27 / macOS 27 drops, the biggest story for developers is the rumored Siri overhaul. If Siri turns into an AI orchestration layer across apps, AppIntents will become a critical new surface area overnight. martiancraft.com/blog/2026/06...
