Bringing more Spring smartness to your coding agent doesn't stop with delivering specific diagnostics, it comes with the corresponding quick fixes for those observations as well - now as skills and explanation markdowns that tell the agent precisely how to improve the code and fix the issue 🎉

Our extension for Claude Code can tell your agent what seems to be wrong with your project from a Spring perspective by deliverung diagnostics information directly to the agent - pretty nice to safe tokens and to enhance the agent with more Spring smartness 😎🥳

Look who is on the show… The awesome @starbuxman.joshlong.com - by far the greatest dev advocate you can imagine, what an honor to be on the same team with him

Who is actually accountable when AI-generated code ships to production? @starbuxman.joshlong.com (Spring Developer Advocate) has a 1970s IBM answer that's hard to argue with, and a case for why the JVM is better positioned for the AI era than most developers think. 🎥 Watch: youtu.be/_ftzJ33mCTI

Not using the new type-safe property references in Spring Data yet? We are here to help 😎. Introducing a new validation that flags string-based property references automatically - and provides a quick fix to switch to the new mechanism 🚀🥳

If you are building MCP servers with Spring AI, having a good tool description can be key for an LLM to pick the right one. So we added a validation that checks for a (configurable) minimum length - just as a first indicator 😀

Three races in 8 days, probably a little too much… 😉 The race today went fine, but the tank was pretty empty during the run. But nevertheless, I made it to the finish line - and now need to recover, recover, and recover 🫠🥴

The version validation got a new option: in addition to fetching GA version information from spring.io, you can switch to a repository-based resolution, so if you have a company-internal or commercial repository configued, you will see validations based on those versions directly in your IDE 🥳🚀

Up to now, the preparation for this years triathlon season went reasonably well, including several great 10k races along the way and an awesome half marathon in Hamburg in April (with a new PB for that distance 🥳 ). Now looking forward to the first olympic distance triathlon on Sunday in Lübeck 😎🏊🚴🏃
