Women continue to be underrepresented in the energy sector, especially in senior leadership roles. It would be great to see similar data for policy and research roles - I suspect the share of women to be somewhat higher there.

Delighted to announce I've been appointed as member of the Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee (DPTAC). DPTAC is an independent committee that provides advice to the Department for Transport (DfT) on the #transport needs of disabled people – particularly on ministerial policy priorities.

#Heathrow airport expansion decision doesn't align w. UK's #climate targets. The Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Mandate only goes so far: SAF target is 2% of all jet fuel in flights taking off from the UK from 2025, growing to 10% by 2030 and 22% by 2040. Not to mention local noise & air pollution.

Good to see strong commitment from Europe to climate action.
