The inner child and comic book nerd in me was just so happy watching Spider-Man: Brand New Day. I love that it was a more mature and grounded take on Peter Parker/Spider-Man that was still very much connected to the greater MCU.

How do this year's TE1 & TE2 compare to the last decade of prospects in my rookie TE model? Brock Bowers remains the highest-graded TE (99.9th %ile) Kenyon Sadiq is in solid company as a 95th percentile prospect Still hopeful Michael Mayer eventually gets an opportunity as TE1
I’m pumped for all that Doomsday will bring, but I am by far most excited that we’ll get Shang-Chi again in the MCU Now we just need that sequel announcement at SDCC later this week!

Running Back Prospects This was the case pre-draft, and still holds true post-draft … the 2026 class has the largest drop-off from RB1 (Jeremiyah Love) to RB2 (Jadarian Price) Christian McCaffrey and Saquon Barkley remain the highest-graded RBs in the model
How do this year's WR1 & WR2 compare to the last decade of prospects in my rookie WR model? 2010 & 2011 had four of the most elite WR prospects 2016 & 2017 with some disappointing misses 2020 to 2023 with a solid run of WR1s. TBD on whether 2024/2025 will continue that streak

The fun of playing Dynasty Football is how drastically values can change over time. Looking back at this trade, I remember thinking how risky it might be to trade away both Dak and Aiyuk for an upgrade at TE.
Halfway through most of my rookie drafts and I don’t remember a year where drafting in the second round was this difficult. It feels like I’m reaching no matter who I pick!

Confession time: I took a break from fantasy football. Not a “I’m still lurking on Twitter and pretending I’m unplugged” kind of break. Not a “I’m not watching film, but I accidentally watched six rookie highlight videos” kind of break. A real one. No rankings. No mock drafts. Not even rookie debates. And no “this third-string running back is getting first-team reps in shorts” overreactions.

Jeremiah Smith - Ohio State Here's where Smith currently ranks in my rookie model through 2 years at Ohio State Assuming mid-1st round draft capital (and he’ll likely get drafted even earlier), Smith already projects to be an elite WR prospect in the +99th percentile.

In the 2026 Draft, only 13 Running Backs were selected, the fewest since 2010. That equates to a 48% drop from last year (25), which featured one of the deepest RB classes in recent history.
Below are Navy RB Eli Heidenreich’s Percentiles among RBs drafted since 2013 Because of his heavy usage as a receiver, his efficiency metrics are off the charts. He’s essentially a WR among RBs, which makes him a tougher evaluation from an analytical perspective.

Outside of the top prospects, I'm looking forward to seeing where Elijah Sarratt gets selected in the NFL Draft Among the 2026 class, he ranks as: WR3 in Experience-Adjusted Production WR2 in Receiving Yards/Team Pass Attempt WR1 in QBR when Targeted WR4 in Yards per Route Run
