Wow! The manicurist in the Marx Bros.'s "A Night at the Opera" has finally been identified! That identity - Jean Burt Reilly - has been a holy grail of hard-core Marx fans. It turns out that she had a long, award-winning career as a hair stylist for movies and TV. IMDB updates have begun.

The manicurist in 'A Night of at the Opera' was played by Jean Burt (later, Jean Burt Reilly), per research by Robert Stryker of The Marx Brothers Council. The image shows some background information on, and images of, Jean Burt Reilly.

It can now be said that 1.8% of MBCP guests go on to win Tony Awards for Best Book of a Musical and Best Score of a Musical -- and that the musical itself, in 100% of these cases, wins the Tony Award for Best Musical. The data is irrefutable!

I'LL SAY SHE IS Day seems to come a little earlier every year! GROUCHO: Who was that lady I saw you with last night? CHICO: That wasn't last night. That was the night before last night. Thrills and best wishes to all who celebrate!

A graphic celebrating the 102nd anniversary of the Broadway debut of the Marx Brothers, showing a production photo from I'LL SAY SHE IS within the zero in the number 102, with text reading: "I'll Say She Is, 1924 - 2026, 102 Years of Thrills, illsaysheis.com."

I cherish this photo Groucho sent in early 1975 as he experienced a renaissance of appreciation (Academy Award honors, tributes on Merv, Mike, Dick, David, Johnny, his solo Carnegie Hall show later released as An Evening With Groucho). Great to have all 3 Marx Bros. – though Zeppo was cool too! /4

Signed photo of legendary comedian and star of film/radio/television/live performance Groucho Marx, shown with his brothers Harpo (left) and Chico (right). Simply signed "Groucho". Received early 1975. Publicity still for his LP "An Evening With Groucho" on A&M Records.

You're probably aware that the first MBCP live event took place this month in NYC. In an effort to squeeze even more content out of it, we deliberately refrained from discussing the weekend among ourselves, just so our subscribers could enjoy this bonus segment! www.patreon.com/posts/bonus-...
