Speaking of old school #Anthrocon, here's a banner art I made for the 2009 Fursuit Dance. For me, that doesn't feel too long ago, but it's nice to see I learned to draw a little better since... Gotta' keep improving! There were multiple huge copies printed & hung over the stage. #furry #furryart
All cons are important to me in different ways, but #Anthrocon was my very first furry con. I use it as a checkpoint each year, to make sure I keep improving. Love that the feel & location hasn't changed in years (outside of it being bigger/better). AC is a great vibe, it feels like coming home.
These last two months have been really difficult for me. If you interacted with me, I'm masking, super hard. I feel a *little* better now that most of my AC prep is done. Lots of stressors involved, don't wanna talk about it! But I AM looking forward to AC. I can't wait to see my friends.🩷
If you take commissions, set 2 deadlines. One secret deadline for yourself (based on how long you believe the project will take), one deadline for your customer about a week later (to allow for "real-life" delays). Try to finish and deliver by YOUR deadline. Your customers will be happy it's early!

Been working hard prepping for AC over the last month... I can't WAIT to stop by the Denver Fan Expo tomorrow and visit the @magpieevents.org booth. Looking forward to getting a breath of air before the real mad rush begins. Hope to see some CO locals there! Bring your suit, there's space for you!
