And I won’t be tempted by vile evils because vile evils are vile evils
West Ham United’s tributes to hugely popular former goalkeeper and coach Ludek Mikloško before the Championship match at London Stadium. He died aged 64 last month #ludekMiklosko
First visit to the wonderful Cinema Museum which is difficult to find in Elephant & Castle but I will return. This was for the launch of the debut book by @nigelsmithwalks - An Opinionated Guide To Film London published by Hoxton Mini Press. The book is superbly designed and I can't wait to read it.

Richard Dadd: Beyond Bedlam at the Royal Academy to October 25 highlights the talents of the visionary artist whose legacy is complicated by his personal history. The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke (1855-64) - inspired Freddie Mercury to write a song of the same name for Queen II in 1974 #RichardDadd
Scenes at Flamingo Park, home to London’s oldest football club, Cray Wanderers, founded in 1860 as they beat Chippenham Town 3-0 in the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round, equaling their best ever FA Cup performance. It’s next door to Mulligans Sidcup with dinosaur-themed golf courses #grassrootsfootball
Connoisseur of sunsets? Apparently Martin Parr used to tell young photographers not to take sunsets as they all look the same. But I’ll never be mistaken for Martin Parr, and early October has brought a prime crop in London. Here’s Paddington and Kentish Town

Visited the Design Museum in Milan, and among other beautiful things, I loved this small spot dedicated to one of my all time favourites: the Lettera 32, a Portable Typewriter designed by Marcello Nizzoli for Olivetti in 1963. Happy to have one that bought second handed a couple of years ago!
Open to 5pm, today’s the last chance to visit Underground (and Surface) at Guildhall Art Gallery in the City of London. Jock McFadyen's large-scale 1990s Tube station paintings with a soundscape by Jem Finer of The Pogues and Longplayer composed from Northern and Central Line field recordings #art

Scenes from Brisbane Road - never the BetWright Stadium for me - as West Ham women drew 0-0 with Spurs in the League Cup. Now the Subway Players Cup, apparently. This competition has a penalty shootout if it’s a draw, and the Irons won it 4-3 to gain an extra point. The attendance was 746 #COYI
Good news, Underground (and Surface) at Guildhall Art Gallery is has extended to Sep 27. The exhibition combines Jock McFadyen’s large-scale 1990s Tube Station paintings with a soundscape by Jem Finer (of The Pogues and Longplayer) composed from recordings made on the Northern and Central Lines.

The final of four nights of Turning the Tide was last night, but there’s a film coming. The site-specific film installation by Catherine Yass was displayed on the disused Blackfriars Railway Bridge columns, as part of the Totally Thames Festival
The London show on the Saint Etienne farewell tour at the Roundhouse was special, including supports Gwenno - pictured playing Y Gath, her paean to her cat - and Mozart Estate, led by Lawrence. The Roundhouse was the only tour date for Mozart Estate but Gwenno is also at Gateshead & Brighton.
Last call for the free boutique exhibition Waldmuller Landscapes at the National Gallery in central London which ends tomorrow (Sunday September 20). The Austrian artist (1793-1865) specialised in landscapes around Vienna and across the country, as well as in Italy #waldmuller
For the very last time in London, the city where it all began Saint Etienne at the Roundhouse. Thanks for everything #SaintEtienne
This was once one of the best places for tea and cake in London, at the Courtauld at Somerset House. I’m not sure what it is used for now , if anything.
Sunset over the London Stadium before the sun set on West Ham's League Cup campaign. Reality bites after the 6-0 Wrexham game. Fulham controlled the midfield & Palacios & Robinson ran the game. We equalised twice & Pablo finally scoring was brilliant. We had 3 late chances, but Fulham deserved it.
The result didn’t matter so much, all about Ludo tonight, with a full tribute at the QPR game next month #LudoMiklosko
Hmm, West Ham have just emailed this. Can’t remember being asked to bring a printed ticket, and it’ll be impossible for many fans. Worth arriving earlier than usual, I’d say #westham
We’ll always remember his name and always sing his song. Devastating news about Ludo, even though we knew this day would come. We will do him proud at the game tomorrow and again for the QPR match. Images from the Bournemouth game in February this year. Rest easy Big Boy #miklosko
Fatal Blow covering Woody Guthrie the Hope and Anchor a fortnight back #punk
