Liam Hicks hit his 10th double and 15th HR of the season last night. The last time #Rays had a C who could manage that was Mike Zunino who hit 11 doubles and 33 HR in 2021. The major differences? Zunino also had a 35% SO% and .211 AVG, while Hicks has a 9.4 SO% and .284 AVG.

Freddy Peralta just got a lesson in what it means to be with #Rays. Sure, you can have a terrible outing and have to fight through 3+ innings, but that doesn't mean you're going to lose. The pen picks him up, the lineup picks him up, and the team wins it in extras. To put it in Seinfeld terms:
