Having some landscape gardening going on under the direction of my wife. I obviously wasnt paying enough attention to the extent of the work needed to be done. Now the small digger they brought has efficiently cut the incoming fibre to our house. No internet, no telly. Ah well…😆

Quite enjoying the TV-series The Gentlemen. I had passively ignored it previously, but gave it a shot when in between other series. It is quite typically Guy Ritchie, which isn't surprising as he has made a movie with the same name, and by and large the same set-up. A drawn-out somewhat […]

The guy doing the "crafts" apps is really on a roll right now, no? Not only has he done all of the Adobe software, but he is now also on to doing the MS Office software and then some. 13 app clones as we speak. Go check it out unless you love paying subscriptions to Adobe, Microsoft etc […]

Swedish politicians are more concerned about their own positioning/gains than they are about what is best for the country. Sad thing, but we get what we deserve I guess.

I love when web sites say "hey, you're coming here from the EU. We therefore can't provide you with out content, as the EU operates under GDPR legislation." What they're actually saying is "we will track our users and be so privacy infringing that it is only legal to do so in the US". I […]

Hah. Varje gång jag ser talmannen måste jag upprepade gånger påminna mig själv om att han tydligen ÄR på riktigt, och inte en karaktär i Solstollarna.
I predict that Sweden, again, will have months without a government due to crashed government negotiations. It has happened before.
General Election day in Sweden. Go vote if you haven't already. It is your obligation/opportunity to influence society. People have died for your right to vote today. Do it.
Mr Robot S04E07 is a masterpiece of television. If you know you know. You’d need to see everything prior to it to have it make sense though. #MrRobot #tv #series #MasterPiece
If you want to check out a new (to me) band that are breaking literally all the rules, in the most excellent way, have a gander at this. Part of this is so far from my normal batch of music that you'll think I've hit my head, and then again, other parts are exactly what I've always listened to […]

New song/video from The Ocean. They are really using the new set-up of members in a great way! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGvFf1dh_Uc #metal #newreleases #TheOcean
Apparently it is called "nylonbröllop" in Sweden after 21 years. Admittedly we were together for 12 years before that as I wasn't sure she would actually reply with a "yes" if I asked, but hey, it all worked out quite well I think. :)
Now my first-born spawn has left the nest. It is all more quiet here now, and it feels weird and strange, yet exciting and I secretly somewhat envy him and all the amazing and fantastic experiences he will have in the coming years.
I say, this is a fantastic article. So many truths. Also, a recurring topic these last couple of days, it saddens me that these days when people do NOT agree with something they lazily say "AI slop". To anything/everything. They proclaim they have seen the obvious, which means everyone else […]

It is not that I'm a huge fan of mosquitos, wasps, flies, bees, bumblebees (they are cool though) etc, but is it only here there has been a distinct lack of them this summer? And I mean ANY of them? Normally during summers (in my part of Sweden) you need an actual strategy combined with serious […]

I'm on a rewatch-tv-series-spree. Have just finished Person of Interest and (re-)started watching Mr Robot. It is quite fascinating how well before their time they were, compared to reality of today. I mean, 10 years ago they predicted, pretty much exactly, what we see right now. They asked the […]

Now this is cool! So, as I have been dabbling with AI-solutions, not to replace my creative work, and not to write my texts, but to actually do the things I would prefer to rather _not_ do (so I can free up time to create music, take photos etc) I have over time installed/integrated quite a few […]

Had a quite productive day! * Created a bot/gateway for my main Hermes-agent so I can talk to it via DeltaChat, something that I hadn't found elsewhere. Obviously Argus (that's his name) built it and tested it for me, I mostly cheered him on and re-started gateways when told to do so. * Helped […]

4 weeks of summer vacation starts now.
Hmm... my @Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net browser got an update, and now it has forgotten ALL my carefully setup workspaces, email accounts etc (weirdly the calendar accounts are remembered). At first I hoped it would all come back via a sync, but no. To be fair it has, over time, given me a lot […]

This day 21 years ago is one of those days I’ll never forget. It was the day of the 7/7 bombings in London, where I lived and worked at the time. We heard/felt them. Scary times.
The most expensive and fragile thing on earth must be male football players. It is a miracle they get through a normal day! And yes, female football players seem more like normal people, they get up again if they trip or fall over. #worldcup2026
On the train back home after an amazing couple of days at #CopenHell2026. Copenhagen and Denmark delivered again. Sweden could learn so much from Denmark when it comes to arranging festivals (well, and a few other things too).
