Been thinking about the TV coverage. I'm always in the camp of asking for more and I think yday was an odd choice to have such short coverage, but at the same time if you'd told me 5 yrs ago we'd have a TDFF with at least 2.5 hours of coverage every day, I'd have been bowled over
By the way I don't see any way this can be policed without being completely undignified. Riders should not have have arbitrary intimate searches before a TT!!!

Joint effort with @lukascph.bsky.social - teams were told of the change on Friday, so it's not *just* a typo but I'm still not fully convinced it was a deliberate decision...

Walk to bakery in the sun, get given all the attention and treats, walk home and zonk because it's so hard being so popular. What a life
"This is out of context" I literally wrote 1,000 words of context underneath
I don’t know how to convince anyone of this, but the hundreds or thousands of words many publications run below the headline aren’t decorative. Often they contain nuance that doesn’t fit into ten words.
All my friends are at the Tour and now my sisters and dad are too and I'm NOT

Testing coverage has gone insane. An 8pm or 10pm test on the rest day is not the same as an 'overnight' test, in any regulatory way, nor is it unusual
Have spent my whole evening reading French sports law and there's a really tiny and random rule that states riders can be tested from 11pm-6am if they're taking part in an international event and consent to it (or judge can overall need for consent) but for testing 11pm-5am there must be "serious
France have some of the most robust anti-doping laws and powers for anti-doping agencies in the world if anyone is wondering why this happens at the Tour more than anywhere else. That and it's the Tour
L'Equipe reporting that ITA sought approval from a judge for nighttime tests Judge must rule that "there are serious and consistent suspicions against the athlete that he has contravened or will contravene the provisions of this chapter and a risk of disappearance of evidence" sooooo....
Testing and Whereabouts are already so invasive, it's absurd to try and justify this. The riders should look at the tennis players' example and complain about this
