My first attempt at restaurant style filet mignon. Seared in cast iron with whole garlic cloves, rosemary, and (of course) butter. Finished off in a 400 degree oven to medium rare.

I was watching an interview with Scott Gorham from Thin Lizzy. He talked about how "The Boys Are Back in Town" did not make the initial cut to be on their 1976 album "Jailbreak." Their manager pushed to have it included and it ended up being their best known and most covered song.

We'll miss Luis for many reasons. You could see and feel the defeat in the #NATS' players and coaches yesterday. This trend continues for a franchise that is incapable of retaining their best players. More trades to come. The annual rebuild cycle continues.

The #NATS have not been able to strung together a winning streak this season. They will win 81-82 games which is a huge improvement. But could likely be sellers.
