I’ve been listening to Dark Star and only Dark Star today -w the exception of 1.5 hours of meditation music I swear was in the same key. 31 versions counting forward in years from 1969 thru 1994, then back toward the first live version and finally the studio version. Eviscerating and exhilarating!

It really is freaking awesome to think about all the people at MSG right now digging all this stuff because they’ve been fans for so long. I’m not quite as tenured and got on board in 99 so a lot of these things are misses for me but it’s wild to see the universe pumped up and the band delivering.
