My hot take from today’s game: a fully fit Jota has the potential to turn Tounekti into an actual menace. Because Sebastian has the building blocks, but he’s about to be behind a guy who hasn’t really played consistently in years. And if he wants to know why, he should pay attention from the bench.
Scotland stuck in a weird place, we want to be more progressive than we were under Clarke, but we probably need to be more conservative than the new guy wants and the system is mental and the players not good enough to deliver it. Coat is already on a shoogly peg I reckon.
Don’t think Scotland can play with a back 3 of limited players and expect them to press super high, let the defence defend and press from the midfield forward. It’s been an issue in all the games I’ve watched so far

Those 2 goalkeepers on the bench were really useful additions to the team tonight. Osmand being registered while injured long term and Jota not being in as he makes his way back. World class decision making. Might not have mattered tonight, but might later in the year.
Watching Cal post match is rough, hardly makes eye contact with anything but his own bootlaces the whole time. He’s saying the right things, but he obviously doesn’t believe a word coming out of his own mouth
The SFA are currently more forward thinking and progressive than the people running Celtic. Think on that.

So held fire on reacting to today’s omnishambles, MON got it wrong start to finish. This is the weakest, slowest team in a generation. Change needs to happen now as we’re getting scudded in the EL too. A half decent team with some balls causes us problems and we should be better.

My wee maw got through open heart surgery today - she’s a scrapper, got the all clear from the hospital around 7pm. Still tense as fuck obviously, but a few Celtic goals have helped release some of the tension. One more and get some of the new lads on the park.

Watched I think 3 Rangers games so far this season, mostly as I genuinely expect them to lose and it’s hilarious. One observation, how many individual players have first team appearances already? Must be in the high 20s/ low 30s. We’re like 5 games in. How many are in that squad?
From a season where no one got pass marks regularly to a night like tonight where maybe 5 or 6 Crltic players have their best games for us and maybe ever, what a turnaround
Been enjoying some A/L today by kidding on I’m a pirate in Black Flag, watching Celtic play well and listening to David Bowie - life is good.
It’s weird looking forward to seeing Celtic play, then they’re actually convincing. We’re moving the ball forward quicker and we have players who can create and take chances in line with this. I’m into it so far.
Here is my latest gaming hot take: AC Black Flag @ £50 allowed me to “girl math” that a new game this good would have cost £70, so I’m justified in spending £20 on DLC.
