Artist: pen, ink, oil, acrylic, wire, the dreaded AI. Dabbler in music generation, D&D, nerd stuff, irrational rationalist, left leaning centrist, anti-theism, no position is inviolable. All ideas should be challenged, especially bad ones.

I finally got around to watching Strange New Worlds season 4. Why is Kurtzman still around ruining Star Trek. Hasn't this goon done enough damage to the universe? This season feels like Starfleet Academy's terrible writers just moved over to this franchise and took a hot diarrhea on it.

Dragon is so ingrained in human mythoology that it is a prompt that is impossible to fail at creating in AI. There is zero challenge that pushes us to be creative. Perhaps we could apply new restrictions would create a challenge, like you can't use THAT token to make a dragon. #dragontuesday

do not trouble yourself with the misdeeds of those that were supposed to be under your command sir! stuff made of nightmares, musculature, tendon, ligament, snarling, gnashing teeth, rage, anger, hate, rancor, black ooze, red ichor, jagged sharp teeth, tendrils, razor sharp protrusions of bone, gnarled, twisted, ripped, ripping claws, snapping tails, crushing bone, snapping maw, golden eyes of black hate, razor spine, seething, terrifying, fear inducing, hellish, devilish, disemboweled, emaciated, ripped skin and sinew, dripping, flailing, torn open, poised to strike, reaching out --ar 8:5 --cref <image prompts of impasto abstract to liquid smoke in a suspension abstract> --cw {18-50} --v {6 - 6.1}BildBild

This is virtually imporssible on that time scale, climate inertia alone would see a continued rise in heat and melkting ice sheets and glaciers for decades even centuries. Electrical output = 20% of global carbon footprint. You'd need to drastically alter the "lifestyle" of human civilization.

Someone asked me to do an art piece of a monk, using AI to try and inspire something not usual. #midjourney I was thinking to do a painting but all these little line ones I might try that out who knows. I can't paint in this fine detail. despite having carte blanch on size. was thinking 100x80cm

Seems like the west is erupting over immigration but I think it's a problem that has history and that the west's approach? to this problem is finally at a boiling point. The public on the internet throwing their ideas out there for the world to hear lacks vision, scope and history.

making real art again feels substantially better than making AI, I still like AI but the fulfillment ratio from prompting has lost its luster after being streamlined to death. The first few years of exploring the space was really amazing. When you could actually mold images slowly with words.

trying to make a mess with AI, I've always wanted to do this with a painting, take that leap to "ruin" it with grazing brush strokes of distortion. But never took the chance cause 1 screw up and it's over. or it's a lot of work undoing what you just did. At least with AI I can fantisize about it.

I'm starting to dislike how high fidelity AI is getting. It's just too clean. a lot of the models are cleaning up their back end architecture of their models and destroying some really unique cross model prompting too. It's a damn shame too.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall during these pitch meetings. "Let's take the least possible masculine trans celebrity and cast them in the most hyper masculine role ever in the history of human literature and move in the opposite direction of historical accuracy and see what happens!"
