There is a problem with postal services in our area - I have heard from people across our area who are fed up with getting important letters late. I have written to the Chief Executive of Royal Mail to ask for a review into the delays and an assurance that things will improve.

Labour is bringing our buses back under public control. This change puts passengers before profit, giving local people greater control over their transport network. This is Labour delivering essential, passenger-focused public transport.

Today, Frank Field would have turned 84. He was nobody's man but his own - always seeking answers, never afraid to disagree with anyone in pursuit of them. In Jewish culture we say, 'may their memory be a blessing'. His memory is. labourlist.org/2026/07/reme...

I have nominated Andy Burnham to lead us. There are lots of good reasons: his record in Manchester, his commitment to a different kind of politics, and a plan to restore hope. But there’s another quite fundamental reason.
