FULL RADAR LOOP from 5:45 PM Saturday to 7:30 AM Sunday, showing the entire formation, peak, and slow dissolution of the #Vancouver BC thunderstorm outbreak, which brought widespread/frequent lightning, very heavy rain, and some fascinating dynamics moving the storm. #BCstorm

Looking at this loop from 8 PM Saturday to 12:15 AM Sunday, it's amazing to see how the SW BC thunderstorm outbreak came together. Just an incredible amount of lightning over the Lower Mainland, Van Isl, Howe Sound, and the Strait of Georgia. #bcstorm

This is why the highest possible dry thunderstorm risk was issued for parts of WA on Saturday. Take a look at the multiple strong (and 2 severe-warned) thunderstorms in NE WA tonight, with fast motions and little rainfall. More fires likely, yet again. #wawx
