One thing video games have over film is collecting shards. Regardless of how big Christopher Nolan goes with his camera, his movies will never allow us to collect shards.
A fun Myst story. When I graduated from The Jan Van Eyck Akademie in 1998, I had to present all of my interactive projects from the past 2 years. I took the main island apart, screenshot by screenshot, hid my work everywhere, and then rebuilt everything in the much-missed Apple Media Tool.
