Something I do outside of running Frontend Mentor is playing #FPL. As a little hobby project, I decided to create an app to help me plan my team. I've also made a season-in-review tool for it, which is free to use for anyone who wants to try it (link in the thread) 🧵

Season review stats highlight a player named Matt Studdert, ranking 8,995 with 2,401 points and an archetype called Ice Veins.Performance graph for Fantasy Premier League, showing weekly ranks, overall trends, and a comparison of green and red streaks.Summary of Fantasy Premier League performance with captaincy choices and points gained compared to crowd strategies.A data visualization shows Fantasy Premier League points lost from bench players, highlighting key game weeks and regret over a specific player.

With the launch of this path, we essentially have a complete "career path," which includes building 38 projects using real-world workflows. Community members completing all paths will gain incredible project experience they can leverage to impress potential employers! 🚀

We've just launched our FREE "Getting job ready" learning path! 🥳 We know the job market for entry-level developers is challenging right now. With this path, we aim to help you stand out and make a strong impression on potential employers. Here's what's included...🧵

Team branding is live! 🥳 Promote any page you like while training your developers/students with our projects. If you have a company, product, course, coding school, or anything you'd like to promote to our developer community, check it out!

We've just shipped team branding! ✨ This means teams can now promote their company, careers page, course, school, or any page they like throughout the Frontend Mentor community! 📣

The existing H1 for our hiring platform doesn't really convey what we're about: "Discover and hire top tech talent quickly" It's a bit...meh. Our USP is helping companies uncover exceptional developers with proven skills based on their completed @frontendmentor.io projects. Time for a re-think 🤔

Tis the season to spend those training budgets! 😄 We recently launched Frontend Mentor for Teams to help teams train and onboard developers faster using industry-standard practice projects. If you're in a professional development team, read more below to see if it might fit 👇

Teams, do you have training budget to spend by the end of the year? Frontend Mentor for Teams could be a perfect fit for leveling up and onboarding your devs using our realistic practice projects. Here are a few reasons why project-based learning could work for your team 🧵 teams.frontendmentor.io

We offer purchasing power parity discounts for @frontendmentor.io, but have never played around with additional discounts. Tomorrow, we're shipping an update that gives new customers a 20% discount on our yearly subscription, valid for three days, once they complete our first learning path.

We're looking for more ways to drive traffic to our pro subscription sales page (and Teams offering). I recently saw that Codecademy has an "upgrade now" banner at the top of its index pages for free users, so I thought we might try it. The page gets 500K+ views per month. Too obnoxious?

We're exploring adding device toggles to our design comparison slider. This would be a pro-only feature, as adding two extra screenshots on 15,000+ solution submissions every month would skyrocket our Cloudinary bill 😅 It could be a good pro feature addition!
