Went to bed at 6am just after the #furality 2026 Closing Ceremony, only to start immediately back up again at 10:30am to catch the last set before everything rolled over to repeats... This con has been a vibe and a half, and the fireworks display nearly drove me to tears again.
The misconception stems from a non-transferrable Unity-based workflow. People are so used to drag-dropping their Unity package into a window and having something that's either immediately them, or can be quickly customized to reasonably resemble them that they don't know what to do.

Today I finally started to make work of my great Battletech 'box of shame'. Primed two dozen miniatures and experimentally painted three (and touched up another) with help from a good friend. All in all this encompassed about five hours of work.
Time for some rare RL swimsuit content. Trying to work on my body some so I can fit into some of my older stuff, and a certain blue Leohex I acquired a year or two ago now. Plus I really wanna be twink again x.x

So, this is my first run on detailing #battletech, a Locust and a Shadow Hawk. The picture doesn't really do it justice lol given the scale of these models. Zenithal primed, then painted Davion Green and drybrushed with a bit of Actuator Metal.
So, finally putting base colours on my 'mechs after finding the kinda greeeeeen I wanted. Speedpaints over Zenithals are really striking. It doesn't even need any soft-tone washing it already looks shaded. Also yeah, the Phoenix Hawk's arm was accidentally painted yellow before it became green.
How it started / How It's going. It's been about three years since I got into #battletech tabletop and I have yet to actually do anything more than zenithal them. XD Also I wish you all a Merry Christmas and much unpainted plastic.
So earlier this month my #Battletech Mercenaries pledge arrived. It made me realise how I needed to restructure how I organized my Battletech so I started browsing reddit threads, and found someone's novel idea; Trading Card Binders and Partitioned Jewellery boxes. Maybe a Fedherr case next.

Time for some more fresh #Resonite content. It's been super liberating being able to post VR content again and I'm pretty much determined to make my BlueSky account a repository of cool content. Well, that and everything we've been doing with the Mentor Program has been "rule of cool".
Alas, the embargo is finally lifted and I can grace you all with some fresh Resonite screenshots. I will say this, if you were looking for a "VRC Alternative", you will not find it in Resonite. It is at it's core a SOCIAL CREATIVE SANDBOX. It's trying to be it's own thing.
