I try really hard not to have conspiracy brain. But I can’t help but think Walmart knows the source (or at least has a good idea) of the Cyclospora outbreak. They have gobs of data about who bought what food and then later bought items to deal with the diarrhea.

I often say that the fight for democracy is the fight of our generation. But let me be clear, if you aren’t fighting for Black voting rights right now then you aren’t really fighting for democracy.
I'm starting to think the MAHA/Wellness mindset is just lazy doctoring. A good doctor works with you to treat/solve what is ailing you. Wellness is about what you're doing (or not - blame). While that can help, it's not going to work for everything. And in some cases can be outright deadly.
Happy 50th Apple! I grew up with an Apple //c, then one of the cool transparent Macs, then one of the first Powerbooks in college. We now have M1 and M4s. Every one has just been a solid, dependable computer. #retrocomputing I still have the //c. If you have one and want to restore it... 1/2
Hi! I'm looking for broken Apple II keyboards. I successfully designed a replacement keyboard for the Apple IIc, and I'd like to do the same for other vintage computers. Is anyone willing to let me "rent" a keyboard so I can get measurements? I'd happily send $$ or a prototype replacement.

The Raspberry Pi Pico came out just over 4 yrs ago. At the time, we had shelved a project we were building - it was good but we didn't love the boards we were using. When the Pico came out, we brought the project back & worked fast to finish it. Happy Pi Day / 4th Birthday make.playpiper.com !

I talk about race, openly and honestly. It's also what I do for a living, and while it can be uncomfortable for white bodied people to hear criticism aimed at white folks. If we are to move together as a society, it requires getting real and moving past the fragility.

I'm not saying it is reverse racism or anything like that, but it is a broad and weak generalization. It's like me saying all Trumpers are stupid rednecks.

Trying to design an input stage for an ESP-32 based scope. Haven't had to bust out my own scope in a while. It amazes me how quickly this analog stuff can get complicated! Just trying to attenuate and bias a range from +/- 5V to 0 to 3.3v, and I'm 4 op-amps deep.
I made a new thing! Here's a four digit 7-segment display module. It's nice and bright, and it's designed to be connected via I2C (STEMMA QT, QWIIC). Firmware is open source and written in Arduino so it's easy to modify to fit your needs. Available here: www.tindie.com/products/mat...

Trying out my not-yet-finished mechanical keyboard this evening. It's my first mechanical keeb...it's going to take some getting used to, but I think I'll like it! Not sold on using CircuitPython yet. A couple of weird issues that I have had to work around. I think I eventually land on Arduino.
