Text. Audio. Code. I'm developing ideas & tools for online publishing and an open web. Working on several Kirby plugins. Posting in german and english. #IndieWeb #openWeb #getkirby

I just stopped the SearXNG Container on my NAS. It's too slow on that machine and I got errors from search engines too often. I found myself getting annoyed and switched back to other engines. So, goodbye for now.

Auf LinkedIn erzählt mir gerade jemand: "Dein sauberer Code kostet dich jetzt bares Geld." Die grandiose Idee: Tests weglassen, Team reduzieren, QA weg … alles Overhead > Es gilt: Weniger Code = weniger Tokens = weniger Kosten. > Beweis: fertiges Produkt, 2 Wochenenden, ~40 % meines

The #obsidian sync plugin is making good progress! Today I built a #KirbyCMS panel button which allows you to clone and sync pages with obsidian with just one click! I think, I am not far away from publishing those plugins. Kirby 5.5.0 even comes with a frontmatter parser, which might make things

I don't know when this happend, but Jetbrains added an autocomplete to the terminal input of Webstorm. So when you start typing a common command, some sort of select box opens and it catches your keyboard focus, so you cannot keep typing. You also cannot type in the select, you have to use the arrow

I just killed the website for my Kirby podcaster plugin. I was keeping it for too long because there were those "support the development" possibilities on the site. I just moved the docs to my site. Now all the plugins are in one place, which makes it easier to maintain the documentation, etc.

The newsletter feature coming with Mastodon 4.6 also looks very interesting. Could be a good starting point for users who don't want to create an account but follow users. Maybe then the next step is to eventually create an account. #mastodon

oh yeah, in terms of good news- I haven't seen anyone talking about this??? In short- worst case scenario of 4C warming by 2100 is no longer possible, new worst-case is 2.8C now DOES NOT MEAN we just relax- the only way we got here is through hard work- but it means THE HARD WORK IS WORKING
