In southern Europe people live amongst ancient olives and don’t bat an eyelid. They nurture them and keep harvesting them. In Puglia they have a public register. We have ancient trees all over this continent too but we hide their location because some drongos are far too cooked
Used to live in a place that had a giant moreton bay fig shading our western side and we never ran the air con, it was superb. It was my favourite tree and there was always something going on there. Every night bats would fly up from yarra bend and feast on the fruit. Two doors down was a furnace.

Different keys of the same mode don’t evoke specific moods or feelings and this idea is archaic quackery. A song in C major will evoke the same mood or feeling as the same song transposed into D major. Anyone who tells you different is selling snake oil

It seems to me breathtakingly audacious to complain about being “cancelled” for being outed as a member of a group dedicated to targeting people in the press and mass-emailing their employers and funders in an attempt to destroy them and their livelihood. The DARVO happened almost instantaneously

This watering down of the term doxxing is going to have a devastating long term impact. Same with the “gatecrashing” framing of Nazis attending rallies they share ideology with. The members of the group chat were *outed*, or disclosed, or leaked, however you want to say it. It wasn’t sharing PII.
