Say what you will about the service they provide, the name Hugging Face is and always has been incredibly distasteful.
I start to wonder if AI is China's version of Reagan's Star Wars—goading us into bankrupting ourselves by trying to compete with them on something that ultimately doesn't work. www.cnbc.com/2026/08/03/huggi...
Hugging Face CEO says China is winning the AI race and dominating on open models

The first time I heard the term "mogging," I knew exactly what it meant. It meant I didn't need to pay attention to the person using it anymore.
As my kids become more interested in making their own media, I've implemented a new rule: never record when someone else is in the room without asking first. I don't want to raise them to be part of Generation Pervert Glasses.

His incredible catalogue includes the studio albums ‘+’ (plus), ‘x’ (multiply) and ‘÷’ (divide) which spawned hit singles such as ‘The A team’ , ’Lego House’, ‘Sing', ‘Thinking Out Loud’, ‘Photograph’, ‘Shape Of You’, ‘Castle on The Hill’ and ‘Perfect’. My therapist said I needed to set firm boundaries by practicing saying "No" more. She also said I should probably get more sleep. So I told her "No."
If I keep bashing on MOTU, sooner or later somebody is going to show up to defend it and say, "Well, sure, it's not perfect, but it's not supposed to be. It knows what it is." And that's just it: No. It has no idea what it is. It's manifestly obvious that nobody involved with it knows what it is.
