All the way back in SH4, in the official staff interview for the game's Konami Guidebook, Masashi Tsuboyama (art director and monster designer) shared the idea he had of a giant monster that the player could never see in its entirety. Unfortunately, the idea didn't come to fruition.

Extract from the translated interview with the SH4 staff. Interviewer: Finally, could you tell us about any rejected creatures or characters you wanted to create? Tsuboyama: There was something giant...something like when it was walking around, you could see only part of it at a time. I wanted to create something where you gradually got a better sense of what it looked like as it walked around.

SH Fact Hub Q&A for the pinned, just some questions I've gotten in the past: 1) What is it with the "Fact" part? That is actually kind of a leftover from Twitter. When I wanted to make an account to share SH info, there were other fandoms with accounts named "X Facts." So I took that.

True. That means every major protagonist has (arguably) killed another person. Arguably, referring to Heather (kills the Missionary and Leonard, but you could argue they don't count as they're in monster forms) and Henry (kills Walter's manifestation, but you could argue he's human enough).

According to documents, the flower would have been introduced to Japan around the year 1580 by Jesuit missionaries. The flower is stated to be native to Silent Hill's region in SH1. While Hakkokusou is made into the Kakura-makakura medicine, White Claudia is made into the PTV drug.

SHf - The game links to Silent Hill 1 through the Hakkokusou flower and the Crimson Water. In SH1, the White Claudia flower possesses the same characteristics as the Hakkokusou and was similarly used for rituals. Their seeds are also manufactured into drugs by both places.

According to folklore, the herb can give one the ability to converse with gods, visit their lands, and even awaken dormant powers. With the manifold divine experiences this herb is rumored to provide, it is no surprise that numerous legends talk of kings journeying to find it under the belief it holds the key to immortality.
