Prestigious, fully funded, 3 yearlong postdoctoral fellowship ($90,000/year salary plus benefits) in neural computation and NeuroAI is available starting October 2027. The Candidate must have a very strong CV, including empirical publications. See our lab's page for our research directions.

UK: Prince Andrew arrested. South Korea: Former President Yoon sentenced for life. Brazil: Former President Bolsonaro serving a 27-year sentence. USA: President Trump demands $10 billion payout from taxpayers.

Imagine having the power to move the entire global stock market with a few words. One sentence—and trillions evaporate. Then buy the dip, and say the opposite words, and rake in billions over night. Then repeat. Only one personn has that secret power, its called tariffs other threats.

Thank you. I learned a lot from this visit.

🧠🧠Announcing: Neural computations without borders 🧠🧠 So many students and postdocs are stuck due to visa, or other hurdles. To help in a small way, I will mentor about ten students/postdocs in neural computation, or neuro-AI projects, leading to publication/s.

New opinion paper in @cp-trendsneuro.bsky.social with Dan Bendor, where we argue that rodent studies provide only marginal support for the idea that replay supports real-time decisions (e.g. planning). Fictive learning and memory tagging are more consistent w/evidence. www.cell.com/trends/neuro...

Awake replay: off the clock but on the job

Hippocampal replay is widely thought to support two key cognitive functions: online decision-making and offline memory consolidation. In this review, we take a closer look at the hypothesized link bet...

This is a good move. Sadly, I doubt Musk+Maga madness will care. What they will definitely notice is if we quit everything Musk, from Twitter to Tesla cars and stocks. Europe has already done that, we are far behind. Give them a doGe of their own medicine.
