blender is pretty cool, didnt think that id like it as much but its been so much fun to figure out. WIP model of an epiphone riviera. still need a lot more parts to finish ayyy

little update, i have picked up blender and now im messing with grease pencil ayyyy this is a nearly 1:1 recreation of an Ibanez YY-20. only thing i forgot to do was the truss rod cover. it's built in the same way you would actually carve and put together a real guitar lol

does bluesky have any support for high-framerate footage yet? i feel like i might be ahead of the curve on this particularly because most websites these days bring my 48FPS animations down to 30FPS LMAO

i finally fixed my TVP brushes. had a bunch of really nice brushes a while back and then i lost all of them after a power outage. so i recently scribbled out some textures on a sheet of paper using a dry sharpie and got some nice animated brush tips ayyyyy

did this doodle today. the process for this one is REALLY weird. i actually did the sketch/lines on paper, and colored it digitally. the wild background with the really weird textures is actually a bunch of really distorted scans of random things that i found around the house

I figured out reaper on a very basic level. from now on I think I might continue to record/splice all of my main instrument tracks in audacity for the convenience, but I'll record vocals and mix/master everything in reaper lol

"not the same anymore" by the strokes first time sorta successfully doing a full band scenario. everything performed by me with live equipment. the drums were recorded in 2 separate takes using 2 mics at different distances from the kit, its a super basic setup but its best i can do for now

had a ton of fun with these animation exercises. i specifically wanted to practice stuff like subtle actions involving the whole body, shifting body weight, and different contact points for balance

quick animation from last night. tried using my left hand for the green stick but gave up after like 20 frames LOL my wrist was not having it

aaaaaaaa did this in TVPaint over the span of a week. started with just a hand and then added a body. took a while to get this figured out

storyboards on my short film for cookie shall BEGIN gotta sketch out some basic environments and floor layouts. ill gonna figure out the music as i go, fall into a free-flow movement rather than stiffen up the production early on.

rough camera approach practice animation. been wanting to push myself to start getting comfortable with different forms as they get closer and further away from the camera. get used to those extreme angles and silly high FOV things

nice to see more people here ayyy gonna let my twit rot and occasionally shitpost there. haven't drawn or animated in a while but slowly getting back into it.

ayyyy music stuff lol. ive been thinking about scoring some music for an animated short film that's been brewing in my head. i want to express emotions and actions using only my guitars, absolutely no sounds effects or voices recorded and mixed in audacity, as usual

Aye, music train, why not. Here's a guitar intro to this lofi jazzy thing I'm working on. I made a mistake on one of the chords but its jazz so it still fits😜 @diontegeorgemusic.bsky.social @mayde.bsky.social @taverncatrecords.bsky.social @frozennight.xyz @divinumx.bsky.social
