Gardner High School and GFA Credit Union recently held their annual Reality Fair for juniors & seniors. The program connects career exploration with real-world financial planning—helping understand salaries, expenses, & daily financial decisions. A great example to prepare for life beyond graduation
Joined the Greater Gardner Relay for Life “Light the Town Purple” event to help raise awareness for the June 12–13 Relay at MWCC. For decades, Relay has been a source of support and strength in our region. “No one fights alone” reflects the spirit of this community and the way we stand together.
Yesterday the Gardner Golf Course celebrated its 90th Anniversary! When the first 9 holes opened in 1936, Mayor Timpany hit the first ball off the first tee to open the course. It was great to remember one of my predecessors and the legacy Mayor Timpany- especially with members of his family there

Last week I joined Mayor Sam Squailia of Fitchburg Mayor and Mayor Dean Mazzarella of Leominster for the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce State of the Tri-City Breakfast. Great to join my fellow mayors in talking about the great work being done in our cities and our region as a whole!
This past Wednesday, I had the honor of hosting my fellow mayors from around Massachusetts in Gardner where @MassGovernor & @MassLtGov for the signing the recent Chapter 90 Bill, providing historic investment in local roadway, bridge, and infrastructure repair funds.

Gardner held its 11th Annual Overdose Awareness Day and Night of Hope Vigil. I’m proud to be the mayor of a city that comes together to support our neighbors & be there with each other, whatever struggles and challenges people are going through, & lift others up along the way.

Last week, we officially opened Gardner’s new Community Youth Center! This new center provides a safe location for all Students in grades 7 - 12 to go to after school for FREE to hang out with their friends and build a community with each other.
Earlier this week, the Chair City Chapter of AARP held a party to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the signing of the Social Security Act. Great to see so many of our Senior there for the celebration and hear from Congresswoman Lori Trahan as the keynote speaker for the event!

5 yrs ago, I was first sworn in as Gardner’s 20th Mayor. Today, I turned in my nomination papers & qualified for the 2025 election ballot. While we only needed 50 signatures, we got 632 thanks to the outpouring of support we’ve received. I’m asking for your vote to keep Gardner moving forward
