The stuff of nightmares

I remember a month or two ago being disappointed the site was too hugboxxy but now I see we've gone full lord of the flies

looking like bilbo with the ring at my furniture picture I took to send the used furniture guy I'm hoping to sell to. "after all... why shouldn't I keep it?"

it's a shame seattle is so boring because it is definitely the most beautiful place I've lived

I finally got to play real mahjong with my tiles last night!! it went very well, I successfully taught the game to two new people. also I got a haneman (riichi tanyao pinfu dora three)

a guest brought fruit over last night for mahjong night and I think I'm fruitpilled now. I never respected fruit but I think it's good now

a few weeks ago I saw yud qt and call evil something like "everyone can perfectly choose to follow their objective function by asking themselves 'what am I supposed to be doing right now' but you just don't want to" and I think this is the fix to all my executive dysfunction

every universe has its kwisatz haderach but some are less interesting than others

threads might coexist with twitter/bluesky but it will never kill either because it's targeted at normies and all their posts are boring and the mods are pussies

It’s only been two days, but it seems clear to me that Bluesky missed its moment to be the Twitter replacement. It feels like Threads is going to eat Twitter’s lunch, and Bluesky will be a cute niche site. Hope I’m wrong, but feels inevitable already.

I normally ignore sticker shock but every time I look at seattle to bangkok flight price I think "once I go I'm not coming back for a long time"
