The @coopparty.party.coop is ostensibly an independent political party whose constitution commits it to the values that this code of practice goes against. Where has the Co-op Party been when the government has been making a GRC completely worthless? Patting itself on the back about "Manchesterism"

You could tell it was all bullshit when they came for parkrun, but even before that when cricket banned trans women from professional women's cricket you had the Telegraph crying foul that it didn't apply to amateur leagues, which they would know well aren't necessarily gender segregated anyway

I think the most obvious put down of Lenin is that he and his faction believed above all that the people could only succeed if they were led by a vanguard of (him and his mates) and then had to hotstep it to St Petersburg as fast as he could cos the people were succeeding without a vanguard

Really loved our trip to the Netherlands. One highlight was when a lass from a Dutch hen party put her glass on our table while she smoked, and apologised in Dutch. Her mam said "no, they're English". I was like "How can you tell? We haven't said a word!" and she just burst out laughing

The most positive takeaway from this FIFA / private investment scandal? WE HAVE A VOICE. We are not powerless to stupid change dictated by — and serving — the power brokers of the global soccer and collective financial bottom lines. Well done to UEFA for being the first to step up.
