#Dartmouth evaluates faculty for promotion and tenure through a rigorous review in three areas: research, teaching, and service. This year, 14 faculty members were promoted to full professor, and 14 were promoted to associate professor and granted tenure.

#Dartmouth researchers collaborated on a new study identifying how bacteria coordinate the molecular motors that pull in DNA carrying antibiotic resistance genes. The findings point to a potential strategy for disrupting the spread of antibiotic resistance.
