Political spam texts are getting ridiculous. We have “Do Not Call”. We need “Do Not Text”. Campaigns, businesses, PACs, vendors, etc. should be required to query a registry before sending. Allowed or denied. Simple. It also needs real penalties not the loophole nonsense the US has today.

Software craft is valuable to the dev team. Delivery is valuable to the business. Billions are made daily with poorly designed software that simply works. Good design is still worth pursuing, just don’t confuse it for a success strategy. It’s a maintenance strategy

Imagine a global mesh network where devices relay encrypted messages without cellular connections. Your offline phone could talk to other offline devices by bouncing packets through nearby devices until reaching the internet. Like thread, but for everything between online and offline devices.
