Agentic workflows have been great to reuse obsolete hardware. I have a full fledged agent working on a 2013 MacBook Pro, now running Ubuntu, and it’s hosting multiple services - some of which has built itself
I’m a big fan of Home Assistant, but the web ui was terrible to use on my Sonoff NSPanel. So I put together a small native android app that responds much faster to user’s input, and it’s just as easy to configure (yaml file). [1/2]
Current new Apple Watch situation: delivered to the wrong address (Yes it’s AI with the style of this artist https://www.instagram.com/_yes_but?stkn=MWdjYjVwNjRrYWdxbg==, go see their content if you like it)
I’ve been investing lots of evenings in Seasons! Aiming to release something to the beta channel soon. :) It’s a completely brand new app: - user accounts - family planning - incoming / leaving shows updates - trakt integration Oh , and this time is Android too! https://getseasons.app
#buildinpublic also as separate news, I’ve released a first version of an app I wanted to have for some time: MapInk! https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mapink-map-notes/id6768144274 [1/2]
In the past I’ve generated codes multiple times because I either lost the file or didn’t remember when the codes were expiring. Well, no more! If you’ve been in the same situation, you can now use CodeVault to manage the codes you’ve issued. And yes, it’s free and open source! [1/2]
I’m looking for some testers for trying out RideNav, a motorbike-first route planner and navigator! Some features: - pick your roads! You can choose much more than “avoid motorways”, and set preferences to the type of roads you want to ride on. [1/3]
I’ve waited so long for this Atlas headrest, and it’s probably the worst purchase I’ve made this summer.
Pixel injured his paw, but he’s been a really good boy tolerating the bandages!
A little personal update. My time at Reddit has come to an end. The job market has been tougher than I expected, and while I'm still looking for my next role, I've been pouring a lot of energy into my own apps instead, both old and new ones (👀).
As an indie dev I'm so eager to display my apps that I almost fell for a scam. If you receive this, be aware!
I keep forgetting to safely eject my drives when I unplug my monitor, so I made an app that does that for me when I pick up my Mac. #buildInPublic

👀 Unfollowed - tiny app to see who said goodbye. Tracks across Bluesky and mastodon. Should I release it?
