Spicy spot. Hoping for discharge soon. No answers but feeling pretty good and antsy to get out of here
When it’s 100 degrees it’s night shearing for the sheep
Preparing to construct a cairn beneath the magnificent willow D and I planted. It will stand as a reminder of the love that made this place. A memorial to D and all who called Squirrelwood home.
Formal statement available. If you are interested in helping place animals, or can provide a vetted home with references, please reach out via DM. Squirrelwood.org

Wet and cold holiday weekend here. Remi all grown up.
Richie looking so good 🤍🤍 always comes running when he sees me
While not the outcome anyone in Croutonia hoped for, it's important that all the animals receive the care and support they need to get ready for their new homes. The herd will still need vetting, transportation, and ongoing care. Please donate to help!🐮 www.squirrelwoodequinesanctuaryinc.org/donate

I’ll be making a formal statement this week. The HVSPCA has withdrawn their bid to take over the sanctuary. I had so many hopes. This officially marks the end of Squirrelwood and Diane’s dream. I have made my peace with it. All of the remaining animals will be placed with other sanctuaries.

Coming up for air. Hey all, it's been a rough week. spent last night in ER after passing out. More dr visits in my future. I never realized how physical grief can be. I'm doing my best to take care of myself but it seems I'm falling short. Just wanted to let everyone know I'm okay.
Sorry I've been missing in action. Rough couple days. Hopefully on the mend...
Musings from the Barn🐴 A celebration of the Equines of Squirrelwood would be remiss without the tiny, but so very special, Pon Pon who taught so many of the herd how to "horse" when they were young. A favorite of all, Pon always had places to go, and his steady presence left quite a legacy behind 💚
Throwback favorite ❤️
Richie has embraced the energy work 🤍. Horses are incredible
