About 1,000 tiny striped bass have arrived at the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology! The striped bass will spend the summer growing at IMET. This fall, through the Aquaculture in Action program, students will raise the fish while gaining hands-on experience in scientific research.

Each spring, we work with Carroll County Public Schools under a special permit from Maryland DNR to bring spotted salamander eggs into classrooms.
