I really loved working on this book, and Marco made it all look INCREDIBLE! My adventure, Between a Corp and a Hard Place, puts the PCs at the center of a powder keg situation with a miner family homestead, corporate espionage, cybernetic assassins, and alien powers all on an "uninhabited" planet.

opening spread to the adventure with some wild text layout for the title showing a sniper laying prone looking done a barrel and a distress call and orbital contact details, all in various shades of brown.

Okay, I think I'm finally ready to dual-boot linux over on my laptop - for a handful of reasons. What's the distro linux folks would recommend for a fairly experienced PC person (I build my own PCs, generally know how things work, am cool to follow tutorials, etc.) with no real linux experience?

Game was a wild one! Surprisingly few deaths as the dice were kind and they stumbled into maybe the shortest possible route along with some smart plays (and 8-monkey chain ladder between levels, for one). The Lord Beneath almost won them over his argument though!

Due to some specifics on player prep, FOUL is exactly a perfect fit (3 PCs per player funnel for MB)! I'll report back with how it goes. 8-9 players including a few kids! Should be chaotic fun, if nothing else. m-allen-hall.itch.io/foul

Anyone have any good recommendations for funnels or high player count adventures for Mork Borg?!

I imagine the highs are very highs in Cataphracts/Phractlikes like Vanitera, but man, the lows are really low too (and I've been getting a lot of 'em)! Seeing months of progress lost and weeks of orders undone because a letter got to someone 12 hours too late hits HARD (in a cool/interesting way).

Got most of my very long hair cut today, and I'm feeling great about it. One of those decisions that instantly felt right even though I worried a lot about it beforehand. Sunk cost fallacy and whatnot (growing my hair out for 3+ years).

Less than 20 pages left on my biggest copyedit yet! One more day of solid work and it'll be sent back over to the writer. This one has been tons of fun, a constant daily task, and a big refuge for me mentally over the last month or so especially when I really needed a project like this to dive into.

Collector's editions should actually be uglier and worse. They should be challenges to the so-called "collectors." Oh yea, you really wanna collect all of our stuff? Well, will you pay more for an uglier and worse book? It comes with a terrible bookmark too, you sick fuck.

"the graphics have caught up with our imagination" is intended as a compliment but is inadvertently damning of the whole project. Yeah, the imagination of Halo no longer exceeds a high-resolution tree. Cool.

The original Halo presented an alluring and mysterious setting that combined alien ruins with Pacific Northwest-inspired natural grandeur, but the level of detail back then simply hadn't yet caught up with the imagination. That's resolved here, with a gorgeous visual update that makes the whole campaign pop with excitement.
