Some really excellent replies & QTs: Rural areas- use those highway mile markers and exits! Look for water towers and radio/cell towers too. Urban- cross streets & transit stops! Suburban- cross streets, shopping centers, neighborhood signs!

I could write VOLUMES about this. But one thing that always felt personally enraging to me was that it exploits and ruins the potential friendships & community that women uniquely build. They train them to prey on family and friends and never get held accountable for everything they ruin.

As Colin & Sophie wrote: "Do something, big or small, to make our community just a little better for someone else." May we honor that call.

Update: my son’s surgery has been postponed thanks to Blue Cross Blue Shield’s unethical denial. I’m better equipped than most to fight this. Nobody should have to.

(Not directed at David) The larger issue is that Frey refuses, point-blank, to listen to Harm Reduction and SUD experts on what WILL reduce “open air drug markets” and falls back on Republican policing strategy EVERY DAMN TIME. He’s a small man puffed up by hubris and repeatedly failing upward.

I don’t know how many Utah ppl are on BlueSky but there’s a bill up in the legislature that will gut EMS across your state and leave you at the mercy of private ambulance services. Please call your reps and tell them to vote No on HR 7739.
If you’re a potential target of the administration- Since it’s summer and kids are home, have an age appropriate conversation about not letting anyone into the house. Don’t open the door. Practice what they should say. Get a parent. For my kids it’s “every day is shut the fuck up Friday.”
