One thing I'll never understand working in an IT department is the amount of people who put in tickets when their hard drive or email is full. Like dude delete stuff. Why do you need my help for that??

We had a firewall give out on us the other day. All interfaces on it appear to be broken. But there's a console connector. So my solution, I use the console port to connect log in and now I need to print the running config to my computer. Print all output from terminal to file. Show running config/2

Solution to print a serial connection config file to a local file on my computer .

I was trying to teach my coworker packet captures today using Wireshark, and he went "I have no idea what we're looking at it's a lot of numbers." I said to him "Yeah that doesn't really go away, it just gets easier to look at the areas you need."

Are there any tools/apps whatever where I can invest money into EU or Asia? If anyone is familiar I'd appreciate it. There's something about keeping all my funds in US investments that doesn't sit well with me right now 😂

Everytime I read a manga with some romance. Or a romance. I always feel like the male is dense. Then I think about my own life and wonder how often I was dense. Probably all the time tbh.

My roommate and I have been watching this J-drama that's based on a Manga called Hirayasumi. And honestly I love it so much. I could relate to the main character quite a bit.

All the plants in my house don't have pots. So I think I'll be making some custom pots, and I want to include this water sensor. I threw this together quickly my I2C screen is so tiny it just says "Soil Moisture: 80%" Now I just need to design and 3d print some simple pots.

I feel like I see the comment that Americans held onto our gun rights for administrations like this one, and I think the biggest problem with that, is we just don't have a leader to start organizing people. No one on the left will do it. They all say the battle will be in the midterms.

I use Obsidian to take notes, and I suppose I do some journaling. For the longest time I have just been uploading the files from my laptop to my server to back it up. I need to setup a local git server to make my process easier on all my devices. I don't know why I didn't think of that sooner

I'm adding books to my reading list for next year, and this is such a fun time. I also found a handful of books from high school a lot of classic literature I'm thinking of re-reading but those are low on the list.

I'll be making a side dish for Christmas dinner at my friends house. I'm thinking I'll make two. So far I think honey roasted carrots. What else should I make? What Christmas side dishes do you like?

There's only one thing on my mind today and that's One Piece. A coworker got caught up on the manga and we talked about it. Yesterday's episode of the anime was phenomenal. I have no room in my head for anything else. I should re-read the manga.
