Agenda for today: Tennis lesson, farmer’s market, phone call with a friend, read a little, make a big pot of curry, maybe a little sunset hike, stare at the moon for a bit… I love being a lady of leisure, and I love living in LA.

I’m seeking short testimonials from people who know and love me for a future Substack essay. Anonymous, of course, and PG rated only please! If you feel moved to write me one, you can email it my way. 💖

I’m out-of-office and on vacation until the last week of July, and planning for August and beyond. My calendar is already filling up with things to look forward to, including a visit to SF next month. Let’s connect. 💖

New S-bstack post just dropped, with a little summary of the road trip I took in early spring, and contemplations on the ways nature and sex are alike. Find me on that platform at MelodyUnchained 📝

A special night celebrating many different things at Kato, days before they received a James Beard award! Anytime I get to eat an uni donut my happiness level goes up. ❤️

Someone recently offered to treat me to a new bikini, and after he’d sent a gift card, texted, “I included a 50 dollar Sephora gift card too (sunscreen).” The level thoughtfulness I get to experience on a daily basis makes me feel so fortunate.

Love constantly being on dates shaped by engaging reflections about the world, politics, culture, and life. For example, the other day I had a conversation with someone about the fact that New York is a domme, while LA is definitely a switch.

Two things I’ve heard a lot recently: “Your hair has gotten so long!” “I can see LA has been treating you well.” At this point, many people I see I’ve known for years. There’s something really special about the familiarity of those connections, watching each other change and evolve across time.
