re: today's animation news, people are rightfully angry and tbh i think the creator deserves the criticism they're getting, but i'm also holding out hope they're saying they're using the slop toolset just to secure the funding, and will barely touch it in practice

hey so i think if indie animated productions are putting out hiring calls and promising to pay "indie rates" they should publish the pay range 🙋♀️ if we're really out here to support each other as artists, we should even the playing field when it comes to pay negotiation, right?

every new adult animated sitcom is a crazy talented animation crew trying to save the worst script a live action showrunner has ever written I never disparage these shows bc the crew is always doing their best under a B-list celeb who ignores their advice & calls all the shots
